BEHIND THE GLASS

On  the other side is Freedom.
Here, the calm,
stillness,
the sweet solitude of whom expected,
like a broken flower,
resigned to die.
Behind the glass, life.
On this side, death
plunges his wounded stem
into the silent water
of dreams
that should never be.

DON´T CALL ME TODAY

Now, when I know  I will die alone,
That you won´t hold  me when I die.
That nobody´s going to hold my hands
                                            this afternoon
-because it will be a December afternoon
when I decide to go-, don´t call me.

I forgive you everything.
There´s nothing more to talk.
I continue dying.
I´ll still probably dreaming.

YOUR SCARS

PHOTO: Trees. Monastery of  Piedra.  By Blanca Langa

I scratch each fold of your soul.
I look  for
              -you do not know-
trees in your eyes
where lay my dreams.

Unbutton my skin,
sew my hands
to your old pain.

Let them erase,
                  let them heal
your forehead and wounds.
I want to kiss
                      your scars.

TEARS IN MY HEART

PHOTO:  http://my.englishclub.com/profiles/blogs/silent-of-tears

                                                   God, you know my heart
when I am happy.
My heart dancing in the morning grass,
singing in the blowing air
when I am happy.

God, you know my heart.
You, Who read every soul,
every single thought.
Please, tell me
why are these tears in my eyes
if I only want to smile?

SMILE, SNAIL

   Red shoes,
black soul.
Blue heart,
grey sky.
Soft snow,
white hands.
Smile, snail, smile.
Cotton clouds
for your path.

WORLD POETRY DAY

PHOTO: Spring, by Blanca Langa

  SPRING
  Spring bursts
in daisies.
The sparrows invade
the streets of life.
Unnail your eyes,
Unpick your lips.
Take off your gag
and rehearse your song
of welcome.
Open your windows. Come.
It´s spring.
Look out, look at the daisies

LIKE A STYLET

  Wield every verse
the same as you wield a stylet:
with decision,
strongly,
crosswise, if necessary.

  Searching,
researching,
nailing the words
in each wound.

Let it touch the weak spot
and penetrate to the bottom.
Stab slowly:
straight to the heart.

  Wield the words
hard,
with decision.
The same as you wield a stylet:
stab straight to the heart!.

FOR ALL WOMEN IN THIS WORLD

FOTO: "Homenaje a Lempicka III. Manuel Parra.

For women who weave dreams made of glass.
For those who weave laughter and heal wounds by healers kisses.
For those who sing lullabies when they are sad.
For those who are able to smile through her tears.
For those who watch the world quietly and are watched and forgotten by the world.
For those who cook to think and think how to cook anxiety.
For those who cut crups of peace and spread them on the table.
For those who love without hope and those who are love desperately.
For all fragile women, beautifully beauty, in their fragility.
For all strong women wielding flags of courage.
For all women in this world.

YOU KNOW

PHOTO: Blanca Langa

I know -and so you do-
it would have been enough
to strech your open hand
and reach mine.
Open like the calyx
of some very rare flower.
So rare and so ephemeral
that it lived for a second
                 and left us wondering
if it had been real.

I know that just a word
would have been enough.
And I´d have opened
the palm of my hand
to fasten together
your fingers and mine
Open like the calyx
of some very rare flower.
So rare and so ephemeral
that it could never be.

LET ME LOVE YOU AS YOU ARE

PHOTO: Monasterio de Piedra by BLANCA LANGA

Don´t  wash your soul for me:
I can love you as you are.
I am not scared.
Let me bite your heart of snow
and get my teeth frozen.
Let me sleep in your silence,
stab your eyes.
I want to know I am a part of you.
I want to be even a part
of the hidden side of your soul.

AROUND ME

   Birds in the air,
air in my hands,
hands in my head,
head on my brest.
Arms around me.
